The Newbury Dental Story
We are so excited to welcome you to Newbury Dental. Our journey together began on Newbury Street in Boston and ultimately led us back to Edmonton, where we have been raising our 2 wild and wonderful children. Our hope is to combine our family values with our passion for dentistry to cultivate a warm environment that you enjoy visiting and are happy to bring all of your loved ones. We can’t wait to meet you!
It began as a love story
Dr. Ngai and Dr. Lee met and fell in love in Boston as they were both attending dental school. After each of them completed their dental education, they returned to Edmonton, got married, and began working as associate dentists in separate dental practices. Eventually their vision of creating a practice that represented their values came to life. Newbury Dental was born. They chose to call their new practice Newbury in honour of the street in Boston where they shared so many memories. Now they hope Newbury Dental becomes a place of memories for you and your family.
Meet Dr. Linda Lee
Originally from Toronto, Dr. Lee completed her Honours Bachelor of Science (HBSc.) with a major in Human Biology at the University of Toronto. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Lee has an interest in cosmetic dentistry, but enjoys all disciplines of general dentistry including, but not limited to: restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns, bridges), pediatrics, dental surgery, endodontics (root canals), implant dentistry, Invisalign, and TMJ therapy.
Though born in Toronto, she has lived in Vancouver, Alaska, Montreal, and Boston. She and her husband love spending time with their two bright and spirited children: Noelle and Nathan. In her free time she enjoys good food and wine, listening to music, traveling, baking, and yoga.

Meet Dr. Marcus Ngai
Dr. Ngai completed his undergraduate BSc degree at the University of Alberta. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Ngai enjoys all aspects of dentistry, including, but not limited to: Invisalign, implant dentistry, restorative dentistry (crowns and bridges), pediatrics, dental surgery, endodontics (root canals), and TMJ therapy.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Dr. Ngai is grateful to live with his family in his hometown. He loves spending time with his wife and their two amazing children. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, eating, and being bad at golf!
